Minister Jailed For Speech On Punishing

Do you believe that parents shoule be able to spank their children? Do you ever express that opinion to others? If you do then you could be sent to prison. Sadly, this is what happened to a pastor in Wisconsin.

A minister, Pilip Caminiti was sentenced to 2 yrs in prison for teaching that parents have the right to spank their children if the choose to. He was not accused of spanking anyone or physically hurting anyone. He was put in prison for simply his speech. Ummm First Amendment?? Whether you agree on spanking children or not, this is a total waste of tax payers money! Increasingly free speech in the United States is becoming less and less...and being penilized for it.

If this trend continues many of us would be put in jail for our voiced thoughts! I thought we had free speech? I guess this goes to prove we really don't!!! Many of us grew up getting spankings! There is a big difference from a lil tap on the behind and child abuse. Why are some abuseres allowed to run free while we jail someone just for voicing their opinion.

Once again I ask you what is this world coming to? While I do not agree with over punishing your children, such as hard spankings. But I do know many parents that will give a lil tap on the bottom to remind their children who is boss. We all have our own forms of punishing our children. But shouldn’t we be more concerned about REAL child abuse and not a lil tap on the bottom?

The real point here is not spankings! Its about free speech and our right to be able to voice it! So now the government is saying that we can't? What happened to our Amendments? WAKE UP!!! PLEASE!!!

  1. I totally agree with your post, they hold the parent responsible for their childs behavior, as a minor, and if that child act out, a parent can be fined anywhere up to a $500.00 fine in some states, in the state of texas, if your child get into any comfrontation at school, where there use to be school counselors, to help resolve any problems, that the students may have with each other, or parent, teacher conference, would be scheduled, now this is not the case, each child has to appear at a court hearing, and if fail to appear, the parents can be fined up to $500.00 in fines, making children apart of the system early on, and at the same time if that parent discipline, that child for misbehaving, that child can dial 911, and that parent could be arrested, or fined anywhere up to $500.00, or more, I have the same question, you have, what is our country coming to. Love You, The Truth Will Set You Free, It's Time To Wake Up!
