More FBI Spies

The US government has developed a massive surveillance system to monitor communications, traveling and financial transactions of everyone in the USA and abroad. But now they are enlisting the help of Internet Café owners to help them spy on us even more. So while you are drinking your latte or munching on your sprout sandwich while browsing the net, you could be stalked by the FBI. What a comforting thought.

The program is called CAT (Communities Against Terrorism), it enlists local businesses to help collect needed information for the FBI. The program is funded by the State and Local Anti-Terrorism Training program or SLATT, its described as a “tool” to engage members of the local community in the fight against terrorism. Well I think most terrorist are smart enough not to use public internet hot spots. Even residential based internet providers like Comcast, Cox, or any other local provider can be a target.

This is officially creepy that the FBI would be interested in anything that the normal citizen might look up on the internet. I mean do they really want to know when I surf the net and what I buy or who I talk to? Obviously they are concerned enough to go to this extreme.  But know that if you exhibit any of the characteristics that are on the CAT list, the business is suppose to gather information about you, including and not limited to your name, license plate, vehicle type, language spoke and anything personal they can figure out. There are at least 25 different CAT lists each with their own charateristics list. Depending on who the flier is handed out to depends on which one they get, be it a company, personal business or large business.

This is just one more way the government is trying to get into our minds and into our lives. People need to WAKE UP and realize what is right in front of their eyes. We need to remember we as a mass are more powerful.
