Zeus, that was enraged by the theft of the divine fire committed by Prometheus , decided to punish these and his beloved creation: the mankind.
Prometheus was chained to a rock and every day an eagle devoured his liver: the organ grew back during the night and so, the next morning, the torment resumed. To punish mankind, Zeus ordered Hephaestus to create a beautiful girl, Pandora, to which the gods offered grace and every kind of virtue.
Hermes, who had endowed the young girl with cunning and curiosity, was appointed to lead Pandora to Prometheus' brother, Pimetheus, who in the meantime had been freed by Heracles.
These, despite the warning of his brother not to accept gifts from the gods (it is no coincidence that his name in greek means "one who reflects late"), married Pandora, who gave him Pyrrha.
Pandora owned a vase presented to her by Zeus, who, however, had ordered her to leave it always closed.
But, out of curiosity, Pandora disobeyed: she opened the jar and evil spirits , which were evil in the world, went out : old age, jealousy, illness, insanity and vice, struck humanity. On the bottom of the pot hope was left alone and it did not have time to get away before the vessel were closed again.
Before that time, the mankind had lived free from evils, hardships or concerns of any kind, and men were, as well as the gods, immortals. After opening the jar the world became a desolate and inhospitable, like a desert, until Pandora opened it again to let out the hope, the last to die, and the world came into being again.
Another jar was opened and evil came out, full of devastating diabolical lies, prejudices, deceptions and recurring false accusations that hovered in front of our eyes, far , very far from the truth.
Like spears ripping the body, you are paying and we are paying in the name of love.
One day maybe we will be able to close that jar .
I want it, we want it hoping that we will be all together
Hope... ''I'll never let you part ..For you're always in my heart''.
