There have been many famous figures in our history that have died sudden and unexplained deaths. Only to rise from the dead many years after their so called deaths. Such things have cropped up like lost audio tracks, pictures, and documents and sitings which are all unexplainable. Does this mean that all the people that have believed these individuals are all crazy? Or does it mean some just pay more attention then others?
Elvis Presley 1/8/1935 - 8/16/1977 The "King of Rock n Roll" suddenly dies of a drug overdose in his home. Yet years later there is still controversay over many of the facts surrounding his death, that to this day make now sense. He was buried at Graceland next to his mother. Despite being declared dead, many around the world claim that there is no way he can be dead. Saying his middle name is spelled wrong, others claim a wax body was put in the coffin. Some believe he was in a position to fake his death, as he became in debt to possible links to the Mafia. Others claim to have seen him in multiple places.
Alexander I of Russia 12/23/1777 - 11/19/1825
Alexander started off as a successful king, but due to family circumstances, he soon became very suspicious and paranoid of others. In 1825 he was on a trip to the Crimea during the winter when he developed a cold that turn into typhus and in the end killed him. He died suddenly and was give a funeral with a closed casket. Many found the circumstances of his death to be questionalbe. Many believe he wanted to give up the throne quietly and that htis was is cover up. Some think he took the name Feodor Kuzmich and became a hermit. To add even more interest to the story, 1925 his tomb was opend, but no body was found.
Jim Morrison 12/8/1943 - 7/3/1971
Know for front man of The Doors, Jim became a popular artist in the 1960's. After moving to Paris, he became a fan of the sity and soon began to write poems. During this time his appearance changed and he became depressed. On July 3rd, he was found dead in the bathtub, no autopsy was completed as there was no sigh of foul play. But no one knows exactly how he died. A girlfriend claims he was using drugs, while others blame a respiatory infection. Many claim to have seen him boarding a plane just before his death was reported, insisting he had just ran away.
D.B. Cooper vanished 11/24/1971
D.B. had many conspiracies surround his death. Firs thought to be Dan Cooper, hijacked a Boeing 727 on Nov. 24th, and demaded $200,000 which he received. Then parachuted from the plane, and has never been seen again. After jumping no one has seen or been in contact with him. There is no evidence claiming that he is alive or dead, or of who the man really was. The money is yet to ever be recovered. Some claim that he is still alive and is in hiding.
Amelia Earhart 7/24/1897 - declared dead on 1/5/1939
Standing as one of the most notable women in early aviation. She earned awards for becoming the first female to fly across the Atlantic Ocean alone. In 1937 she set off to fly around the world but while over the Pacific Ocean she vanished near the Howland Island. Believed to have ran out of fuel and subcomed to her death. Some believe she ws spying on Japan and was captured and executed, or that she decided to assume a new identity. Some have claimed to see her in Japan in later years.
Michael Jackson 8/29/1958 - 6/25/2009
The moste recent death of a celebrity thought to still be alive, Michael became known as the King of Pop and provided pioneering music for his fans for decades. Though still as of today his death remains a mystery to many, some believe that he died of an overdose of anesthetic drugs used to help him sleep. Many still to this day believe that he isn't dead, due to lack of autopsy answers, and the fact that he may not be buried in the tomb located in Forest Lawn (which there is still NO NAME on). Many believe that his gold plated casket ws empty, and that he planned a get away from the world that was so cruel to him. There are speculations that he is planning a comeback.
