The Jackson 5 And Two Michael's ?

Here we see two pictures of the famous Jackson 5.
There does not seem to be much of a difference at first sight....  or is there ?

In both these pictures we can see Marlon, Jermaine, Jackie, Tito and Michael.
However... Michael in the left picture does not look the same as Michael in the right picture.

I see differences in hair, hairline, birthmarks, eyes, shape of the face and also the body build.
They look very much alike but yet not the same.... they look like twin brothers !

What do you see ?  Twins ? ? ?

Wiccan Symbols: Wadjat

Horus was an ancient God of Egypt and usually depicted as a falcon. The eye of Horus can be turned to the left and to the right. The left eye represents the moon and the God Djehuti (Thoth) and the right eye is the Eye of Ra and is associated with the sun.
The symbol is worn to protect from evil spirits and for protection.

The name Wadjet derives from the word wadj that means green, the green one and was known by the Greeks and Romans as "the risen one"

The wedjat was "the central element" of seven bracelets found on the mommy Shoshenq II and was intended to protect the king in the afterlife.

Wiccan Symbols: The Holy Trinity

The Holy Trinity: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit

The Holy Trinity is about this:

"If you concider the sun, we can say it exists because it reviels itself by its own things that manifest its existence, which are: The star that is called the sun. The light, or the rays begotten from the star. The heat proceed from the star through its rays.

By these three esssential things, the sun declares its existance and its effects. In the mean time, these three things are of the one sun and are of the same quality of the sun. If these three things of the sun were not there, we would say the sun is a mere idea and is not there.

Likewise, we hear and read about the existance of God and His omnipresence. But these truths would be mere ideas or even doubtful beliefs, until God reveals Himself. God has His own unique way to manifest Himself and this is a main issue of what the Holy Trinity is all about"

Brooke Shield speaks like this during the Michael Jackson memorial in 2009:
"Here is my secret. It is very simple: One sees well only with the heart. The essential is invisible to the eyes."

Obama Wins the 2012 Election

Today Obama was reelected as the President of the United States. The Victory speech was filled with positive thinking and that he could never have done it alone. It's all about working together as a nation and as a population to defeat the negativity that would destroy the nation if it's allowed to overtake the positivity and hope. He talk about big changes that are coming but he can't do it alone but needs continued support and all people to work as one to acchieve the goals of freedom. He say that all is possible because you made your voice heard, there is a common bond. Your voice together with everyone else makes the best soldiers for freedom in the world!!

Tonight, more than 200 years after a former colony won the right to determine its own destiny, the task of perfecting our union moves forward.

It moves forward because of you. It moves forward because you reaffirmed the spirit that has triumphed over war and depression, the spirit that has lifted this country from the depths of despair to the great heights of hope, the belief that while each of us will pursue our own individual dreams, we are an American family, and we rise or fall together as one nation and as one people.

Tonight, in this election, you, the American people, reminded us that while our road has been hard, while our journey has been long, we have picked ourselves up, we have fought our way back, and we know in our hearts that for the United States of America, the best is yet to come.

I want to thank every American who participated in this election. Whether you voted for the very first time or waited in line for a very long time – by the way, we have to fix that  – whether you pounded the pavement or picked up the phone, whether you held an Obama sign or a Romney sign, you made your voice heard and you made a difference.

I just spoke with Governor Romney and I congratulated him and Paul Ryan on a hard-fought campaign. We may have battled fiercely, but it's only because we love this country deeply and we care so strongly about its future. From George to Lenore to their son Mitt, the Romney family has chosen to give back to America through public service. And that is a legacy that we honour and applaud tonight. In the weeks ahead, I also look forward to sitting down with Governor Romney to talk about where we can work together to move this country forward.

I want to thank my friend and partner of the last four years, America's happy warrior, the best vice-president anybody could ever hope for, Joe Biden.
And I wouldn't be the man I am today without the woman who agreed to marry me 20 years ago. Let me say this publicly. Michelle, I have never loved you more. I have never been prouder to watch the rest of America fall in love with you too as our nation's first lady.

Sasha and Malia  – before our very eyes, you're growing up to become two strong, smart, beautiful young women, just like your mom. And I am so proud of you guys. But I will say that, for now, one dog's probably enough.

To the best campaign team and volunteers in the history of politics – the best – the best ever – some of you were new this time around, and some of you have been at my side since the very beginning. But all of you are family. No matter what you do or where you go from here, you will carry the memory of the history we made together. And you will have the lifelong appreciation of a grateful president. Thank you for believing all the way – to every hill, to every valley. You lifted me up the whole day, and I will always be grateful for everything that you've done and all the incredible work that you've put in.

I know that political campaigns can sometimes seem small, even silly. And that provides plenty of fodder for the cynics who tell us that politics is nothing more than a contest of egos or the domain of special interests. But if you ever get the chance to talk to folks who turned out at our rallies and crowded along a rope line in a high school gym or – or saw folks working late at a campaign office in some tiny county far away from home, you'll discover something else.

You'll hear the determination in the voice of a young field organiser who's working his way through college and wants to make sure every child has that same opportunity. You'll hear the pride in the voice of a volunteer who's going door to door because her brother was finally hired when the local auto plant added another shift.
You'll hear the deep patriotism in the voice of a military spouse who's working the phones late at night to make sure that no one who fights for this country ever has to fight for a job or a roof over their head when they come home.

That's why we do this. That's what politics can be. That's why elections matter. It's not small, it's big. It's important. Democracy in a nation of 300 million can be noisy and messy and complicated. We have our own opinions. Each of us has deeply held beliefs. And when we go through tough times, when we make big decisions as a country, it necessarily stirs passions, stirs up controversy. That won't change after tonight. And it shouldn't. These arguments we have are a mark of our liberty, and we can never forget that as we speak, people in distant nations are risking their lives right now just for a chance to argue about the issues that matter – the chance to cast their ballots like we did today.

But despite all our differences, most of us share certain hopes for America's future.
We want our kids to grow up in a country where they have access to the best schools and the best teachers  – a country that lives up to its legacy as the global leader in technology and discovery and innovation – with all of the good jobs and new businesses that follow.

We want our children to live in an America that isn't burdened by debt, that isn't weakened up by inequality, that isn't threatened by the destructive power of a warming planet.
We want to pass on a country that's safe and respected and admired around the world, a nation that is defended by the strongest military on Earth and the best troops this – this world has ever known  – but also a country that moves with confidence beyond this time of war to shape a peace that is built on the promise of freedom and dignity for every human being.

We believe in a generous America, in a compassionate America, in a tolerant America open to the dreams of an immigrant's daughter who studies in our schools and pledges to our flag – to the young boy on the south side of Chicago who sees a life beyond the nearest street corner – to the furniture worker's child in North Carolina who wants to become a doctor or a scientist, an engineer or an entrepreneur, a diplomat or even a president. That's the – that's the future we hope for. That's the vision we share. That's where we need to go – forward. That's where we need to go.

Now, we will disagree, sometimes fiercely, about how to get there. As it has for more than two centuries, progress will come in fits and starts. It's not always a straight line. It's not always a smooth path. By itself, the recognition that we have common hopes and dreams won't end all the gridlock, resolve all our problems or substitute for the painstaking work of building consensus and making the difficult compromises needed to move this country forward.
But that common bond is where we must begin. Our economy is recovering. A decade of war is ending. A long campaign is now over. And whether I earned your vote or not, I have listened to you. I have learned from you. And you've made me a better president. And with your stories and your struggles, I return to the White House more determined and more inspired than ever about the work there is to do and the future that lies ahead.
Tonight you voted for action, not politics as usual. You elected us to focus on your jobs, not ours.
And in the coming weeks and months, I am looking forward to reaching out and working with leaders of both parties to meet the challenges we can only solve together – reducing our deficit, reforming our tax code, fixing our immigration system, freeing ourselves from foreign oil. We've got more work to do.

But that doesn't mean your work is done. The role of citizens in our democracy does not end with your vote. America's never been about what can be done for us; it's about what can be done by us together, through the hard and frustrating but necessary work of self-government. That's the principle we were founded on.

This country has more wealth than any nation, but that's not what makes us rich. We have the most powerful military in history, but that's not what makes us strong. Our university, our culture are all the envy of the world, but that's not what keeps the world coming to our shores. What makes America exceptional are the bonds that hold together the most diverse nation on Earth, the belief that our destiny is shared – that this country only works when we accept certain obligations to one another and to future generations, so that the freedom which so many Americans have fought for and died for come with responsibilities as well as rights, and among those are love and charity and duty and patriotism. That's what makes America great.

I am hopeful tonight because I have seen this spirit at work in America. I've seen it in the family business whose owners would rather cut their own pay than lay off their neighbours and in the workers who would rather cut back their hours than see a friend lose a job. I've seen it in the soldiers who re-enlist after losing a limb and in those Seals who charged up the stairs into darkness and danger because they knew there was a buddy behind them watching their back. I've seen it on the shores of New Jersey and New York, where leaders from every party and level of government have swept aside their differences to help a community rebuild from the wreckage of a terrible storm.

And I saw it just the other day in Mentor, Ohio, where a father told the story of his eight-year-old daughter whose long battle with leukaemia nearly cost their family everything had it not been for healthcare reform passing just a few months before the insurance company was about to stop paying for her care. I had an opportunity to not just talk to the father but meet this incredible daughter of his. And when he spoke to the crowd, listening to that father's story, every parent in that room had tears in their eyes because we knew that little girl could be our own.
And I know that every American wants her future to be just as bright. That's who we are. That's the country I'm so proud to lead as your president.

And tonight, despite all the hardship we've been through, despite all the frustrations of Washington, I've never been more hopeful about our future. I have never been more hopeful about America. And I ask you to sustain that hope.

I'm not talking about blind optimism, the kind of hope that just ignores the enormity of the tasks ahead or the road blocks that stand in our path. I'm not talking about the wishful idealism that allows us to just sit on the sidelines or shirk from a fight. I have always believed that hope is that stubborn thing inside us that insists, despite all the evidence to the contrary, that something better awaits us so long as we have the courage to keep reaching, to keep working, to keep fighting.
America, I believe we can build on the progress we've made and continue to fight for new jobs and new opportunities and new security for the middle class. I believe we can keep the promise of our founding, the idea that if you're willing to work hard, it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from or what you look like or where you love. It doesn't matter whether you're black or white or Hispanic or Asian or Native American or young or old or rich or poor, abled, disabled, gay or straight. You can make it here in America if you're willing to try.

I believe we can seize this future together because we are not as divided as our politics suggests. We're not as cynical as the pundits believe. We are greater than the sum of our individual ambitions and we remain more than a collection of red states and blue states. We are, and forever will be, the United States of America.
And together, with your help and God's grace, we will continue our journey forward and remind the world just why it is that we live in the greatest nation on earth. Thank you, America. God bless you. God bless these United States.

Newgrange

The prehistoric monument named Newgrange is located in Ireland, on the eastern side. It was built around 3200 BC and that makes it older than Stoneheadge and the pyramids of Giza.
the building have been speculated to have a religious significance because it is aligned with the rising sun. The rising sun floods the stone room with light in the winter solstice for about 17 minutes. The building is part of UNESCO heritage site.

"After its initial use, the entrance to Newgrange was sealed and it remained closed for several millennia, subsequently gaining several associations in local folklore and mythology. It first began to be studied as a prehistoric monument by antiquarians in the seventeenth century AD, and over subsequent centuries various archaeological excavations took place at the site before it was largely restored to an interpretation of its original Neolithic appearance by conservators in the 1970s. Today, Newgrange is a popular tourist site, and according to the archaeologist Colin Renfrew, is "unhesitatingly regarded by the prehistorian as the great national monument of Ireland" and is also widely recognised as one of the most important megalithic structures in Europe."

Excavations in the building have revealed burnt corps (cremated) as well as unburnt human bone. This indicates that human corps was placed within it. Various grave good have been found next to the bodies. Seven marbles, "four pendants, two beds, a used flint flake, a bone chisel and fragments of bone pins and points." More goods where found but have become missing. Also animals have been found in the tomb, such as rabbits, hares and dogs.

The religion during this time is by some believed to be solar rather than death-orientated.

"One idea was that the room was designed for a ritualistic capturing of the sun on the shortest day of the year, the Winter Solstice, as the room gets flooded with sunlight, which might have helped the days start to get longer again. This view is strengthened by the discovery of alignments in Knowth, Dowth and the Lough Crew Cairns leading to the interpretation of these monuments as calendrical or astronomical devices. Formerly the Newgrange mound was encircled by an outer ring of immense standing stones, of which there are twelve of a possible thirty-seven remaining. However, evidence from Carbon Dating suggests that the stone circle which encircled Newgrange may not be contemporary with the monument itself but was placed there some 1,000 years later in the Bronze Age"

"Professor M. J. O'Kelly was the first person in modern times to observe this event on December 21, 1967. The sun enters the passage through a specially contrived opening, known as a roofbox, directly above the main entrance."

Wiccan Symbols: Triskele

The tripple spiral or triskele is a Celtic and pre-celtic symbol and used
frequently in celtic art. The symbol is also found in many other places, one of them in the Wiccan. The symbol symbolizes the power of life and rebirth. The spirals can be combined and represent the circle of life. The symbol is also referred to as a triskelion and represents trinities. The symbol is related to the sun, afterlife and reincarnation. The following here is debated but the symbol is believed to be carved in to a number of ancient Irish buildings, including the rocks of Newgrange. Newgrange is believed to be a prehistoric tomb from around 3000-3200 BC. Christians have used to symbol to represent the Holy Trinity.

The kiss of death

Within these walls of blood and bone
the core of me is lifeless stone
forgetting faith, forever weak
never trust, never speak

under my mask, horror abides
once revealed, it will not hide
my true being, deranged and sick
which side of me would you pick?

my shell is breath taking, not a single flaw
my voice is enchanting, my beckoning call
my body is tight, your perfect dream
but who i truly am, would make you scream

beneath this layer of simple skin
lies a demon bedded within
cold and dark, it never sleeps
evil, mad, meager, weak

I came into this country without getting caught, and now everyday i am hunted and sought.
Whole nations have gathered to plan my destruction..they call me a breeder of crime and corruption.
I am more deadly then whiskey, more deadly then wine..hence i am known as the scourge of mankind.
I come in a powder thats nothing but waste, i look soft and fluffy, but im bitter to the taste.
I am brown, I am white..but deadly to use..but once your addicted i really abuse

From heads of state to the lowest of scum..i give you my word they'll be under my thumb.
I will take a richman and make him poor..i'll take a virgin and make her a whore.
I will make you lie, steal, borrow, and beg.
You will search for a vein in your arm or leg.
I will make you selfish and fill you with greed..regaurdless of color, religon, or creed.
My gift is an illusion, my blessing is fake, death and destruction follow my wake.
I am the kiss of death to all i touch..i start as a gift and end as a crutch.

Eternal Hearts

Eternal hearts live in us each
Where only we can reach
Yet we don't always control them
Though we wear them as personal a gem

Gleaming brighter then the sun
Smiling so big it can't be undone
The color of the beautiful sky blue
As fresh as the morning dew

Our hearts go through many phases
During our lives travel through mazes
They can be broken down
Wearing only a frown

Eternal hearts live in us each
Where only we can reach
Yet we don't always control them
Though we wear them as personal a gem

We give our hearts away
Letting others have them to play
No matter the pain they endure
They will keep beating…for sure

Though we try to guard at all cost
There are times they do get lost
Eventually we will find them again
Exactly where they have always been

Eternal hearts live in us each
Where only we can reach
Yet we don't always control them
Though we wear them as personal a gem

If I Could

If I could I would make you see
Just how dear your are to me
A piece of my heart you do own
Never will that part turn to stone

Floating along on a cloud
My heart cries out loud
Anticipating your hand in mine
Knowing everything would then be fine

If I could I’d write you a poem of love
Every day so you knew it our love came from above
Knowing our love was written as fate
Straight from heaven’s gate

A whisper…a song
That plays life long
Invisible notes that only we
Could see

If I could I’d whisper in your ear
Whispers only you could hear
Telling you, you’re the only one
From heavens golden thread you were spun

Meant for only me to hold
From the same cast we were mold
You are the moon and I am the sun
That is what makes us one.

The Heart of Davy Jones

Is it Death, or a pirate's life for thee?
Do you fear death, and forever let me keep your soul?"
Most give in for fear of the unknown.
Forever enslaved to do their Captain's will.
Forever tortured with their own self hate and guilt,
cowardice has led them hear
This is the curse of Davy Jones.
But his punishment,
for betraying the one he loves;
well, she is his final judgement.

Calypso, gypsy of the night,
now Queen of the sea.
He made a promise,
she knew he could not keep.
So she cursed him forever to be,
the reaper of souls in this tumultuous sea.
Only once in seven years was he ever to come to shore,
to see his beloved Calypso once more.
and when he did not come
a monster he would become
It is said that she hid his heart,
locked up in a wooden box.
and only a magic key,
could open the lock.
As long as she had it,
he was forever bound.
She owned his soul,
until his heart was found

No, death would never come
to the Captain of the Flying Dutchman,
as long as his heart was safely hidden away.
But the one who stabs it, they say,
well, he shall take his place

Davy Jones and Calypso See who I am

And a heart. I learned that if you stab the heart, yours must take its place. And you will sail the seas for eternity. The Dutchman must have a captain. Silly thing to die for."

This heart was removed by Davy Jones from his own chest after his betrayal to the sea goddess Calypso, who had forsaken him prior to his betrayal. Jones carved out his heart in order to no longer feel the emotion of love again. He would lock the heart in the Dead Man's Chest and buried it on Isla Cruces, hiding it from the world. Lord Cutler Beckett would later gain possession of the heart, in which he would use it to control Jones

"What, exactly, did he put into the chest?"
"Him heart."
"Literally or figuratively?"
"He couldn't
literally put his heart in a chest...could he?"
"It was not worth feeling what small, fleeting joy life brings...And so, him carve out him heart, lock it down in a chest, and hide the chest from the world.
"
After the goddess Calypso had forsaken Davy Jones, Jones turned to the Brethren Court, who convened a great Conclave. With his help, the Brethren was able to imprison Calypso into her human form. But this would not help, because Jones' grief and guilt became so great, he carved out his own heart right out of his chest, and locked it away into the Dead Man's Chest. As a result, a geis was cast upon it along with Jones' ship, the Flying Dutchman—whoever stabs Jones' heart, theirs must take its place, as the Dutchmanmust always have a captain.

To keep his fate intact, Jones had the chest hidden on Isla Cruces so it could be safe from potential mutineers aboard the Flying Dutchman and away from his haunted sight. He kept the key hidden within his facial tentacles at all times. Whoever gains control of the chest was able to control Jones by extortion. Jones was immortal so long as his heart remained safe.

At World's End" really fascinated me. In spite of Davy Jones cruel character, he has appeared to be extremely influenced by situations involving love and obsession. He fell deeply in love with Calypso (Tia Dalma). She persuaded him to be the captain of the Flying Dutchman -a ghost ship that can never go home and destined to sail the seven seas., thus ferry souls to the other world and with the curse of being able to visit Calypso once every ten years.

After his first ten years of servitude to the Flying Dutchman, he reached land only to find out that Calypso forsaken him. She betrayed him. In his grief, Davy Jones cut his own heart out and locked it in a chest vault. Having neglected his duty in ferrying souls to the other side, he became the cephalopod-like monster he is now. He then called together the Pirate Lords of the Brethren Court and together bound the goddess to a human form, Tia Dalma.

His passionate nature rarely shown, when he plays on the pipe organ while shedding a single tear over Calypso, meeting her aboard the Black Pearl in their moments of conversation, Calypso says she still has deep feelings for Jones, and explains regretfully why she failed to meet him on the appointed day, saying Jones would not have loved her if not for her uncontrollable and changeable nature. Jones says he no longer loves her. Calypso chastises him for failing to fulfill his duty of ferrying those who died at sea to the other world. It was because Jones ruined his purpose and his mind that he becomes a monster, eternally at sea.

Calypso is angry that Pirate Lords bound her into a human body and threatens to set free her anger upon them once she is released. She adds that after her release, she will fully give her love to Jones, and it appears they have reconciled their differences. When she touches Jones, he temporarily changes back into the man he once was. Before leaving, Jones thoughtfully remarks that his heart will always belong to her. Even to his death, when Will stabbed Jones heart, Jones stumbled against the side of the ship, mumbled his one true love's name on his last breath, and fell over the railing into the plying that he may or may not be truly reunited with Calypso.

That was their story. What will happen next? Indeed not all stories may have happy ending.

The Green Man

The name Wadjet derives from the word wadj that means green, the green one and was known by the Greeks and Romans as "the risen one" Wadjet is the same as "the Eye of Horus".

The Green Man has many variations and is found in many variations of the world. Primarily it is interpreted as a symbol for rebirth or renaissance representing the cycle of growth each spring.

"Parallels have been drawn between the Green Man and various deities such as the British Celtic Lud, also known as Nodens. Many see him as being connected to the Mesopotamian Tammuz who is thought to symbolize the triumph of Life over Winter and Death, Osiris, Odin, and even Jesus, as well as later folkloric and literary characters such as the Holly King.
A character superficially similar to the Green Man, in the form of a partly foliate mask surrounded by Bacchic figures, appears at the center of the 4th century silver salver in the Mildenhall Treasure, found at a Roman vila site in Suffolk, England; the mask is generally agreed to represent Neptune or Oceanus and the foliation is of seaweed.
Mythical figures such as the Jewish (Elijah) and Muslim (Khidr) mystical prophet of eternal life, Cernunnos, Sylvanus, Derg Corra, Green George Jack in the green, John Barleycorn, Robin Goodfellow, Puck, and the Green Knight all partake of the Green Man's nature; it has also been suggested that the story of Robin Hood was born of the same mythology. A more modern embodiment is found in Peter Pan, who enters the civilized world from Neverland, clothed in green leaves. Even Father Christmas, who was often shown wreathed in ivy in early depictions, has been suggested as a similar woodland spirit."

"In Wicca, the Green Man has often been used as a representation of the Horned God, a syncrete deity that appropriates aspects of, among others, the Celtic Cernunnos and the Greek Pan"

Osiris with his green skin that symbolizes re-birth. He is the God of the afterlife.

"Two Birds" by Michael Jackson

"Two Birds" is a beautiful and interesting poem written by Michael Jackson.
This poem can be found in the book "Dancing The Dream" .

"It's hard to tell them what I feel for you.
They haven't ever met you, and no one has your picture.
So how can they ever understand your mystery?
 Let's give them a clue:
Two birds sit on a tree. One eats cherries, while the other looks on.
Two birds fly through the air. One's song drops like crystal from the sky while the other keeps silent.
Two birds wheel in the sun. One catches the light on its silver feathers, while the other spreads wings of invisibility.
It's easy to guess which bird I am, but they'll never find you. Unless ...
Unless they already know a love that never interferes, that watches from beyond, that breathes free in the invisible air.
Sweet bird, my soul, your silence is so precious.
How long will it be before the world hears your song in mine?
Oh, that is a day I hunger for!"

Who is this mysterious 'invisible' bird ?
Could it be his twin brother ? ? ?

Wiccan Symbols: The Tripple Moon

The Tripple Moon is a Goddess symbol that represents the Maiden, Mother and Crone as the waxing, full and waning moon, the three phases of the moon. The Goddess is just one being but there are three different aspects of her. It is also associated with feminine energy, mystery and psycic abilities. The first crescent of the moon the waxing phase represents new beginning, new life and rejuvenation. The full moon is when the magic is at it's most potential and powerful. The lst crescent, the waning moon represents a time to bnishing magic and to send things away.

The symbol can often be seen on the crown or head-pieces on high Priestesses.

The Tripple Moon Goddess represents the cycle of life from beginning to end to the rebirth. The Maiden is the mother of love, hope and beauty. The maiden is called upon when the witches wish for a new start.

The mother is the mother of love and care. The one that all mothers should pose. She is called upon when a woman is pregnant, for protection and to bless a marriage.

The Crone is the least missunderstood and the most feared. She is the last stage of life and the cycle never ends. She represent wisdom and experience and is the one that take care of the Maiden and the Mother. She is called upon to find peace and accept endings.

Brooke Shields said this during her speech on Michael Jackson's memorial in 2009:
"Michael saw everything with his heart. Today, although our hearts are aching, we need to look up where he is undoubtedly perched in a crescent moon, and we need to smile."

Wiccan symbols: Pentacle, The Horned God

"For Wiccans, the Horned God is "the personification of the life force energy in animals and the wild" and is associated with the wilderness, virility and the hunt DoreenValiente writes that the Horned God also carries the souls of the dead to the underworld."
"In traditional and mainstream Wicca, the Horned God is viewed as the masculine side of divinity, being both equal and opposite to the Goddess. The Wiccan god himself can be represented in many forms, including as the Sun God, the Sacrificed God and the Vegetation God, although the Horned God is the most popular representation, having been worshipped by early Wiccan groups such as the New Forest coven during the 1930s. The pioneers of the various Wiccan or Witchcraft traditions, such as Gerald Gardner, Doreen Valiente and Robert Cochrane, all claimed that their religion was a continuation of the pagan religion of the Witch-Cult following historians who had purported the Witch-Cult's existence, such as Jules Michelet and Margaret Murray."
"The seasonal cycle is imagined to follow the relationship between the Horned God and the Goddess. The Horned God is born in winter, impregnates the Goddess and then dies during the autumn and winter months and is then reborn by the Goddess at Yule"
The horned God is the most common deciption of masculine divinity in Wicca, but other names are Green Man and Sun God. It's a common belief that the Horned God rule ove the Underworld where dead souls awaits their rebirth.

What is Wicca

Wicca is a modern pagan religion based on ancient Witchcraft traditions.
Wicca, as it is practiced today, can be traced to the 1950's and early 1960's in England.
Gerald Brosseau Gardner (1884-1964), who is also known by his craft name Scire, was an English Wiccan who brought the Contemporary Pagan religion of Wicca to the public attention.
He was the writer of some of its definitive religious texts and the founder of the tradition of Gardnerian Wicca. Gardner is internationally recognised as the 'Father of Wicca' among the Pagan and occult communities.

Wicca is recognized as a valid and legitimate religious faith by the U.S. Government.Wiccan religious organizations are eligible for the same tax-exempt status as mainstream Christian churches.
Wicca is even recognized by the U.S. Department of Defense, and the Chaplain's manual includes information about Wicca.

Wicca is traditionally and primarily a duotheistic religion centred upon the idea of gender polarity and the worship of a Moon Goddess and a Horned God. ( The God was often depicted as a goat or stag.)
The Goddess is seen as the Divine Feminine and the God as the Divine Masculine.
They are complementary opposites, similar to the ideas of Ying and Yang in Taoism.
The God and Goddess are seen as the Divine Couple who together co-create the cosmos.

Wicca involves the ritual practice of magic, a force they see as being capable of manipulation through the practice of Wichcraft or sorcery.
Wiccans cast spells during ritual practices, often held inside a sacred cycle, in an attempt to bring about real changes in the physical world. Wiccan spells include those used for healing for protection, fertility, or to banish negative influences.
The majority of Wiccans follow a code known as the Wiccan Rede which states "an it harm none, do what ye will". This is interpreted as a declaration of the freedom to act, along with the necessity of taking responsibility for what follows from one's actions and minimising harm to oneself and others.

Wiccans also have the ritual celebration of the lunar and solar cycles.
Lunar rites, known as esbats are usually held around the time of the full moon but they may also be held at the new moon, or the waxing or waning moon.
The solar or seasonal festivals, also known as sabbats take place eight times a year.
The God and the Goddess are usually honoured at both kinds of rituals, the Godess is mainly associated with the Moon, and the God is mainly associated with the Sun.

Wiccans do not believe in the existance of a devil, and therefore, don't worship it.
Wicca is a life-affirming faith, against blood sacrifice and therefore they do not perform any kind of sacrificial rituals.
