The Smurfs 3 and The Rise of the Planet of the Apes
In July 29th 2011 the film the Smurfs was relased in theaters. The releasedate was changed three times. The evil Gargamel chaces the tiny blue smurfs from thier magic world in to ours. The small smurfs end up in the big Apple, New York, in the middle of Central Park.The film is based on the comic book series created by Peyo and the 1980's animated TV series. It's the first CGI/live-action hybri film to be produced by Sony Pictures Animation. In the early prodution the film was known as The Smurf's Movie. The filming began in New York in March 2010. The film is 102 minutes.
The story is about the Smurfs getting ready for the Blue Moon Festival. Gargamel chaces the smurfs away from their magic world in to ours and the end up in Manhattan, New York in the middle of Central Park. The small Smurfs will experience an adventure they have never seen before. Finally they can return home when Papa Smurf destroys the wand that made them leave and gave Gargamel the power over them. Gargamel is now powerless.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes is a 2011 American science fiction film and is directed by Rupert Wyatt. First day of release was August 5, 2011 in the United States and Canada. The film is filmed in Vancouver in Canada, San Francisco in the United States and O'ahu, Hawaii.
The film is about the scientist Will Rodman that is trying to find a cure for Alzheimers disease by testing a retrovirus on chimpanzees. The virus mutates the chimpanzees, giving them human level of intelligence. A single act of both compassion and arrogance leads to a war unlike any other where there is a fight about who is supremacy.
