On The Right Track

In 2011 American’s gave more to charity then ever before. A total of nearly 347 billion, which is an increase of 7.5 percent from 2010. There are numerous ways we can help charities and keep them alive. Our economy may be low but Americans know when help is needed. Charity contributions have grown faster then our economic growth. Money going to disaster relief, education, churches and for the holidays. People dug deep and have tightened their own belts in order to help those in need during our economic downfall.

It’s an important event to see charitable giving’s increase, it means we as a nation are trying to stick together. There will be many more times in the future that we will need to do more than just throw a couple dollars in the pot. Be ready to give your time, your help, and your strength to those who need it. Remember together we make a difference, we can make our world what we want it to be.

This is just a small reminder: Every little bit counts.

  1. What about this scenario? If each person in the whole world was asked to donate $1 to change the world, would you do it? It would certainly have an exponential positive impact just in the giving.
