Are we happy? Or do we spend most of our time looking for something ... something new, something interesting, something that allows us, perhaps for the first time in our lives, relax and enjoy our experience without having to question our actions and ourselves ?
Many people seek happiness, but few people are really happy. Is it because it's so hard to find is discovered only by a few lucky people? And those who succeed? Do you have by luck, or earn it through their efforts?
Perhaps the most basic question we can ask in regards to happiness is: How I can get it? This question is interesting because it assumes that happiness is something external, something that requires effort to achieve.
Then began the great journey of our lives, looking for things that we believe will bring us peace, joy, comfort. Maybe if enough positive factors together, we can combine them and, as in a mathematical formula, get the result you want.
But throughout life we checked again and again that this method does not work, and every time we fail we lose a little faith in our ability to affect our environment and grow the necessary conditions to enable us with gladness .
Back to the question: How I can get happiness? Our parents tell us that if we get a stable, through studies, work and family, we are well placed to find it.
The church tells us that through our faith in a god, one day come to know happiness. Maybe not in this life, but someday we'll get the most valuable reward of all: a paradise in heaven.
But: if we accept the whole idea that as individuals, we are insignificant to the will of an omnipotent being. We have no control, we are not responsible for our lives.
Television tells us that happiness is a direct product of our skill at using.
And who are we to believe when we leave home, we went to the church, turn off the TV? When they fall outside voices into silence, and their echoes are fighting in the field of our minds, what conclusion can we draw? At present, we only know one thing: that we are confused.
We know we do not experience the happy life we want. Happiness is something that too often eludes us, which is not sufficiently present in our lives.
It is natural to try to increase our joy, to live a happier life. But here's where many people make the mistake to be mounted on a circuit or over, or give up, because happiness is not something that can be purchased.
And this is the central problem: the habit of seeking happiness outside. Like any habit, inertia is accumulated through the years, and once started is incredibly difficult to stop. And the more time passes, the harder it makes us admit that we use a method useless to increase our happiness.
Happiness is our natural state. If not happy, is because we are adding something artificial to all our lives on this planet as humans. That something is the need to find something, become something we are not, reject our intuition and our natural impulses in favor of artificial rules that we impose, thanks to pressure from our society.
Be, simply be, exist, live experience life ... is a tremendously beautiful. We lose it because we get too much in our mind, we spend too much time thinking about things and we plunged fully into the moment.
Many people think that happiness is by having a beautiful car..or a beautiful house.. or a good job..or others things.. Of course, all of this can help...I dont deny it... but this is not the essential...
ReplyDeleteThe most important in life, to find happiness... is to meet with the person that was made for you... the other part of your heart... it's to meet your Love.
When you miss love, you miss your life...and you dont find real happiness.. just an illusion of happiness.
"Believe to be strong. Love to be happy. "

Happiness is here, inside each one of us, we just have to recognize it. Happiness means to cherish the moments with your loved ones, to admire nature, to feel life, to not let life passing by you. Happiness is a state of spirit. It can't be achieved by getting things, but by loving life in itself.
ReplyDeleteHappiness is our pure connection to the Divine within. It's free for all.
ReplyDeleteSomeone said "Dedication" or "Being a kind mother to others" is a key to be happy.
ReplyDeleteAlways think about others and do for others what others hate to do. Not to think about to take/gain but just think about to give.
Just be busy working for others without comparing you with so-called happy people, without expecting something in return, without expecting being happy but with smiling.
To have something to do tomorrow is essential. I might be an unhappy person compared with others but while being busy working to live, I have no time to complain for being unhappy. Being alive is lucky and happy.
