we summon together

heart beating into my back
an echo of the last time
and the last time
we never parted
It's as if our two yearning, burning souls
have never been apart.

Twin souls are literally the other half of our soul.
ReplyDeleteWe each have only one twin, and generally after being split the two went their separate ways, incarnating over and over to gather human experience before coming back together.
Ideally, this happens in both of their last lifetimes on the planet so they can ascend together. So you probably haven't had many lifetimes with your twin.
Each twin is a complete soul, not half a soul. It is their task to become more whole, balancing their female and male sides, and ideally become enlightened, before reuniting with their twin.
This reunion is of two complete and whole beings. All other relationships through all our lives could be said to be "practice" for the twin, the ultimate relationship.
"Twin souls" a state of mind, which is difficult to express in words ... and every minute away from each other inflicts great pain....

I actually had a set of older twin brothers,and the bond between the two were unreal, they seem to sense, everything each other felt, the older one, aways seem to protect the younger, I've never seen a tighter bond between two people, but I also feel its a twin in each of us, the one the world sees, that we but out front,and the twin that only shows when we're along, with ourselves, the one that encourages, guard our heart,help us face our daily fears,I think we all have a twin, some call it, their persona, the front man, we all have one, I really Love this, Thank You for Sharing Your Art, it's a Beautiful tribute to twins everywhere, in all aspects.
