Together they were known for their religious revolutions to worship only one god, Aten, or the sun disc. When the pharaoh died some say that Nefertiti continued to rule Egypt. In the year 14 of Akhenaten’s reign there are no words about her. There are rumors that she left and did live in another place. But there is also another rumor: That she did live on and was the ruler Neferneferuaten who was a female pharaoh during the eigthteenth dynasty. Noone have found her mummy and no one have identified her. The exact identity of the female pharaoh Neferneferuaten remains a mystery. She was the pharaoh of Egypt right before Tutankhamun. Did Nefertiti fake her death to come back as someone else? Leaving an empty tomb?
