Michael Jackson's Family Shuts Down Restitution Attempts on Conrad Murray

The prosecution was asking for around $100 million in restitution, but the judge had not decidedon a figure. The hearine had been set for January 23, 2012. It was stated that MJ was 50% responsible for his death, so the defense was asking for the restitution fee to  be lowered by 50%.

But as of just a few days ago the Prosecutors announced that they were done trying to get the $100 million in restitution from Dr. Murray, that was to be paid to the family and children. TMZ reported that the Jackson family gave up on trying to the the money. Having decided that it wasn't worth the time when Murrray couldn't pay it and the D.A. has withdrawn the request. So the hearing that was set for January 23,2012, is cancelled.

It would seem that the family would want some sort of restitution paid to them and the children, no matter the amount or time it took to get it. Or is there another reason they are not going after the money? Could he possibly be alive still??

Today there were some interesting tweets by Jermaine Jackson on his twitter...which make you think!!
