THE RETURN?

Yellow Ribbon HistoryDisplay of a Yellow Ribbon has come to be used as a sign of loyalty to family, friends or loved ones who are away from home. Customarily it is used to welcome home men and women who have been away for a long time under adverse or particularly difficult circumstances such as war. The yellow ribbon serves as a constant reminder while the person is away and as a WELCOME HOME when they return.

The yellow ties, could mean, THE RETURN? Just like the yellow ribbon for the return of the soldiers?

Yellow roses and the color yellow is the color used for the purpose of memorials. Thats why the 9/11 and the veteran ribbons are yellow.
