Let`s Legalize drugs

The rash number of deaths due to overdoses is soring.  Why? Is it because the drugs are to easily aquired? If they were legalized would this still be a problem, or could they be controled in some manner? All seniros have their pros and cons, if a person is going to indulge in an activity they are going to do it, legal or not.

Its known world wide that Amsterdam has legalized drugs. There are laws in place though with the purchase of drugs. Some of the laws include: not sold near schools and there are independent advisors to answer questions about the drugs. Production, trading and stocking drugs still remains a criminal offence. The use of drugs is a health matter, none legalized drugs brings with it a negative effect increasing criminality. There are herbs that can be bought that are very dangerous to our health, but those are legal and without counsel.

  1. Don't forget: In MJ case is about Propofol (an anesthetic not drug like cocaine)and in Whitney's case Xanax is antidepressive (also a prescription drug). So, what legalize then? These are legal drugs (medicines) taken with doctor's prescription!!!!!

  2. If a person is gonna use they are gonna use! Prescription, legal, illegal, I don't think it really matters. It is a problem within the person not the drugs.

  3. Yes, the drugs both took might have been prescription, but you guys have to realize that they take the illegal drugs first(or drink alcohol), and on top of that, they take the legal ones as well, which is usually worse than the illegal drugs(that is why they are prescription because they have a strong effect), so it adds up and there system is not use to it,which leads to their death. I am speaking of Whitney Houston and other ones who died because of this.
Michael Jackson is different, i don't get why people don't see it?

  5. At the heart of the matter, the medical profession has no answers for their patients when they complain of depression, anxiety, or other negative feelings. They have NO time to sit and listen to what is really causing the patient's symptoms. The MD's job is to write out scripts for drugs...he's not worried about the effects. This is the government's agenda to anaethesize the population. Next patient please...

    1. Yes, you are right. Many times doctors abuse with their prescriptions, and don't use first other methods. There are other issues here, like rewards from pharmaceutical companies and other things. And the fact that drug interactions are not emphasized as should be for the patient.
And legalizing drugs is another matter.
